2026 Academic Caucus
Make plans to attend the ASA Academic Caucus prior to ANESTHESIOLOGY® 2026! RSVP is not required to attend, but appreciated.
On behalf of Dr. Michael C. Lewis, ASA Academic Anesthesiology Director, we invite you to attend the Academic Caucus to be held during the ASA Annual Meeting. The Academic Caucus is scheduled for Saturday, October 17 from 6:30AM to 7:45AM (Local Time) in Marina Ballroom D at the Marriott Marquis (333 W Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101). A light continental breakfast will be available.
Why This Matters
Engaged academic voices shape the direction of our specialty and the ASA. Founded in 2015, the Academic Caucus offers a focused forum for academic anesthesiologists to share perspectives on issues before our society. The Director and Alternate Director set the agenda with input from SAAAPM members. If any ASA elections are contested, candidates will each speak for five minutes near the close of the session.
