Lucine Waneis, BS

Lucine Waneis serves as Immediate Past President of the Association of Anesthesiology Program Administrators and Educators (AAPAE). She has more than seventeen years of experience in graduate medical education and currently is the Fellowship Programs Manager in the UCLA Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. She previously served on the AAPAE Council as President and as Council Member for Communications and Marketing, as well as President of the UCLA Staff Assembly Executive Board, Chair of the UCLA Graduate Medical Education Program Coordinator Leadership Council, and Delegate for the Council of University of California Staff Assemblies. She is enthusiastic about promoting the interest and welfare of all program administrators and educators and continues to forge new partnerships and collaborate with individuals and groups to build community and camaraderie, foster engagement, and provide opportunities for professional development and advancement. She enjoys connecting with members from across the country and looks forward to continuing to give back meaningfully to the association, promoting the value of anesthesiology administrators and educators, and working collaboratively to create greater opportunities for our community and to make a positive impact.
